Before checking into your yacht in Zadar’s marina, take the time to explore the lovely Old Town and its beautiful historic landmarks. Not to be missed are Zadar’s numerous churches, many of which were constructed in the medieval period. St. Donatus Church is the city’s most symbolic monument and is located near the iconic bell, which was dedicated to St. Anastasia. The western end of the Old Town offers stunning views of the Adriatic. Here you will also find the famous sea organ of Nikola Bašić, which produces music with the waves.

DAY 1: BOARD THE YACHT

You will be picked up at Zadar Airport at 12:00 and dropped off at the marina, where you will meet your guide and skipper.

You’ll board the yacht and start the adventure with sailing into the sunset; one of many magnificent sunsets you’ll enjoy on this trip.

DAY 2: INTRODUCTORY SAILING COURSE

Today, you’ll become an active member of the sailing team; as part of the introductory sailing course, you’ll learn how to lift the sails and even have a go yourself.

As you sail closer to the coast, it’s time to finally jump into the crystal-clear Adriatic Sea and take a trip along the island shores on your paddleboard.

Your guide will show you all the basics you need, so don’t worry if you’ve never used a paddleboard before; the bays are calm so it’s the perfect place to learn.

DAY 3-7: SAIL, SUP, EXPLORE AND RELAX

The next 4 days are all about what you want from your trip; every morning will start with a freshly prepared breakfast and coffee and after that, the group will determine the program for the day. One thing that is for sure, you’re going to feel a million miles away from the day-to-day back home.

Your SUP instructor and skipper know all the best sights, secret coves, and fun activities; each day you’ll embark on small mini-excursions from the boat, either by foot or SUP. From paddle-boarding along the unique, rocky coast, soaking up the sun on the untouched white sand beaches or snorkelling in the crystal waters. You’ll go where the wind takes you and have the shorelines to yourselves.

Once you’ve mastered the SUP boarding, helped along by an introductory SUP course, you can try your hand at SUP surfing on the wave behind the boat, challenge yourself with a wind-supping session, or enjoy a sunset yoga session to balance body and mind.

One of the days will be set aside to paddle between the numerous Kornati islands in Kornati National Park. Arriving on dry land, you’ll hike the lost village on Male island and experience local Mediterranean life.

DAY 8: TIME TO SAY GOODBYE

This morning, you’ll arrive back at the marina; say goodbye to an awesome team and some great new friends.

Your transfer will be waiting for you to take you back to Zadar airport for your flight home.

Note: This itinerary and the duration of the activities are subject to change due to group abilities and preferences, and weather conditions and forecasts. Please note that extra charges may apply if the boat needs to enter the harbour for safety reasons due to bad weather conditions.

ACCOMMODATION

You will be staying in a cabin for 2 people on spacious 5-cabin sail yacht.

All prices are based on 2 people sharing a cabin. If you’re a solo traveller you’ll be accommodated in a cabin with two separate single beds. Should you wish to have your own private cabin, just let your host know when booking to upgrade your booking for a supplement.
